Participants will begin by engaging in a fun and engaging activity that explores the functional vocabulary for communicating about diversity, equity and inclusion. It will address unconscious bias, stereotypes and discrimination and suggest strategies for improved communication in a diverse society. Break out sessions will be used to discuss benefits and challenges in a diverse workforce as well as address tools to "start the conversation" about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace AND at home. This extended, in-depth customized training session is customized for an intimate group of 25 or less participants.
